The client is a coffee machine manufacturer based in Thailand, producing automatic coffee brewing machines for both household and commercial applications. The manufacturer was using traditional PLCs to control their machines. These PLCs lacked built-in communication features like Wi-Fi or Bluetooth and did not offer the flexibility needed for seamless integration with IoT platforms. As a result, it was difficult for the client to offer modern electronics for smart machines with app control, remote diagnostics, or over-the-air updates.
